Austism Assessments

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability characterised by difficulties in social interaction, impaired communication, restricted and repetitive interests and behaviors and sensory sensitivities.

Assessments for an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are typically a multi-disciplinary process that may involve psychologists, paediatricians, speech pathologists and/or occupational therapists. At ISN Clinic, we are able to provide the psychological component of an ASD assessment, using the gold standard autism assessment tools, the ADOS-2 and ADI-R. We also liaise with other clinicians, such as paediatricians, to ensure a thorough and comprehensive assessment is completed.

ISN Clinic is able to provide these assessments at very low cost and without the long waits that usually occur in the public health system.
